The letter
Dear future friend
I know it can feel overwhelming to face a new challenge. You'll encounter moments of doubt: times when everything hard and worthwhile seems to hurt more than it's worth.
Trials reveal the value you've stored: your emotional fortitude, your technical expertise, and the lessons from every past setback. Some failures are "good failures": they carve the path to success.
My promise: I'll flatten your learning curve (I sing the song when you've forgotten the melody) and I'll crack the whip when low expectations threaten to snuff out your ambition.
The bad news is that the road ahead is tougher than you think. The good news is that you're more capable than you know.
I understand this isn't just about a test or a career move: it's about your family, your dreams, and your future. I do not take your trust lightly.
Warmly, Eric Garthoffner
